Paralegal
Sylvia Pastor provides paralegal and office administration support for the firm.
Ms. Pastor has been a paralegal for over 10 years. She started her paralegal career at a well-known class action litigation firm in San Francisco assisting attorneys litigating multimillion-dollar securities cases. After that, she worked for a boutique employee benefits law firm where she assisted attorneys with a variety of litigation tasks, including drafting documents, managing discovery, coordinating depositions, and filing documents with courts.
Ms. Pastor started her career as a Human Resources Administrator for two international companies, Occidental Petroleum Company and Bechtel Corporation in Lima, Peru. She was selected to participate in the development and implementation of a new worldwide Human Resources and Management System at Bechtel headquarters in San Francisco, California. There, she applied her industrial engineering background to streamline processes for the new system and trained end users from different countries.
Ms. Pastor graduated from the University of Lima, in Lima, Peru, with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering in 1998. She holds a paralegal certificate from San Francisco State University, an academic certificate program approved by the American Bar Association.
Ms. Pastor is fluent in English and Spanish.
